Wall art by material: what the choice actually changes

Wall art by material is a decision about surface, not subject. The same painting reads differently on textured art paper or on stretched canvas. It changes again behind a glass finish, on printed aluminium, or built up as a dimensional 3D piece. Paper holds fine detail and suits delicate line work. Canvas softens edges and flatters painterly brushwork. Glass adds depth and reflection. Metal gives a cool, modern surface with strong colour. Each material section holds the full catalogue, so the art traditions repeat. Indian folk and tribal work sits beside courtly miniature painting, classical subjects and mythological scenes.
